James Dewey "Shorty" Moore, age 86, of Fayette, passed away December 6, 2012.  Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, at Nelson Funeral Home.  Burial to follow in Fayette City Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. till 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
