Bettye S. Green

Mrs. Bettye S. Greene, age 71, of Fayette, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013 in the Sunset Manor Health care facility in Guin.  Funeral services for Mrs. Greene will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Fayette Memorial Gardens. James Wyers and Rick Bolling will officiate. The visitation will be form 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Bettye was born in 1941, the daughter of Jim and Ada Head Bowen Corbett. Bettye worked For many years with Bolling Apothecary and Bolling Pharmacy in Fayette. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Cynthia Cecelia "Cindy" Greene, and four brothers, Johnny, Junior, Allen, and Tom Bowen. Bettye is survived by two sisters, Colleen Bunn of Fayette, and Martha (Bruce) Silas of Twin, three brothers, Ed (Mary) Bowen of Fayette, Robert (Jettie) Corbett of Wayside, and Marion (Edwina) Corbett of Winfield, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
