Lila Pauline Couch Brown Estell

Lila Pauline Couch Brown Estell, age 82, of Guin, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.  Graveside services were held Monday, May 27 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in West Alabama Memorial Gardens.  Bro. Kenny Hatcher and Bro. Peyton Junkin officiating.  Visitation held Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the Norwood Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m..

Born in Guin, Alabama, she is the daughter of the late Felix and Carrie Benton Gann. She was a member of the Guin First Baptist Church and lived in Guin all of her life. She enjoyed cats, gardening, and flowers.

She is survived by two daughters: Jennifer Cornett of Birmingham, Alabama and Ramona Beach of Moody, Alabama, four sons: John T. Couch of Guin, Alabama, Robert R. Couch of Houston, Texas, Larry G. Couch of Fayette, Alabama, and Kenneth R. Couch of Guin, Alabama, one sister: Carol Gann of Guin, Alabama, fourteen grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Felix and Carrie Benton Gann, a daughter: Kathy Walling, three husbands: John C. Couch, Charles Brown, and Leland Estell, and several brothers and sisters.
