Nadine Naylor Freeman

Nadine Naylor Freeman, 86, of Houston passed away on October 30, 2013 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.

Nadine was born on February 9, 1927 in Lawrence County, Alabama. She was a member of Church of the Forest in Grayson, and while living in Fayette, she attended Fayette First Baptist Church. She was a devout Christian woman who loved and served God faithfully and was a prayer warrior for family and friends alike. She was the cornerstone of both her immediate and extended family. Nadine was a mother to not only her own children, but to her nieces and nephews as well. She also loved the many relationships within her church, Joy Group and Golden Circle Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. till 8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.. Brother Calvin Armstrong and Brother Tim Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Mike (Tonya) Freeman; daughters, Patricia (Danny) Archer, Cathy (Tim) Harris; brother, Harold (Joyce) Naylor; sisters, Verbie Alred, Betty (Tom) Henderson; she was grandmother to 5 grandchildren, Matthew Harris, Joshua Harris, Nicholas (Kelly) Archer, Zachary Freeman, Madison Freeman; and Godchildren, Kipp Owen and Kim Owen Fehl.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pinkney Freeman; parents, Ben and Jannie Morgan Naylor; brothers, Edgar and Edward Naylor; sisters, Jewel England, Naomi Garrison and Pauline Asherbranner.
